"I bought these speakers to improve the woeful sound quality of my Samsung TV, within 10 minutes of unpacking them I was reveling in their clarity.
Setting them up is child's play, you may wish to consider buying a short phono cable to enable you to use an audio output rather than a headphone output, the box has a phono to mini jack converter in. They look amazing and sound like they should cost three times as much.
Movies are fantastic deep and dynamic with great rumbling undertones, pop music really kicks with punchy fast base, classical music is so sharp you can almost single out individual strings, gaming is awesome, all in all a very impressive package.
I have only one slight niggle and that is I thought they might go a little louder. Don't get me wrong they are 'LOUD' and at full there is not a hint of distortion, which is more than can be said for the Logitech's elsewhere in the house. Audiophiles will fully appreciate these, base heads may not."

"being a uni student without a tv, sound becomes pretty important! i started out with JBL creature 2:1 system which i thought was good, however i ended up upgrading to these Harmon Kardon SoundSticks II and these are literally in a different league. I looked around for quite sometime at other systems like the logitech 5:1 and other systems similar, however as soon as you turn these on, you can instantly tell these are made by a "proper" sound company. winter crisp treble and thumbing bass which would put your local chav-mobile to shame. The 20 watt sub also comes with a nifty blue LED light which is pretty neat.
Films, music, Shype, anything which requires audio these enhance.
If moneys no object, then there is no logical reason why you'd buy anything but these. End of story."
Pros: crisp treble, thumping bass, looks great, the brand surely?

"I bought theese speakers recently for my son and the sound quality is absoloutley amazing from such a compact device. the sub-woofer gives out lots of base and the two powerfull speakers give out fantastic sound every time. one of the speakers has touch panels to higher/lower the volume and the lighting sub-woofer makes this product a real stylish piece.
