"After nearly 30 years of buying cheap/middle range machines and them only lasting 5-6 years, I thought it was about time to spend some money and buy something decent. We have had 2 Miele vacuums so why not add to the collection??
You only have to look at it to see the quality, the difference is unbelievable. You expect nothing less from the Germans. It is quite complicated and you will need the operators manual handy for the first few weeks as there are so many settings you can chose, but is that a bad thing?? I think not.
The machine is so quiet you don't notice it and there is even a quiet setting if it's not quiet enough!!!
I shall not bother looking elsewhere, but saying that with a 10 year warranty it'll last a good deal longer hopefully."

"Having had yet another lesser make (Zanusi) go faulty I decided to look at better quality machines as I don't think 5 years is a good enough life expectancy for a washing machine. Was slightly amazed that Miele offered a free 5 or 10 year guarantee depending on product, we went for this more expensive model rather than the cheaper prestige plus 6 based on overall value when considering the extra 5 years of warranty, honeycombe drum, faster spin etc. I have to say I am amazed at how quiet it is even when spinning, its so well balanced, you get no vibration and the wash results are fantastic. You would expect all machines to wash to a similar standard, don't beleive it. Miele is not cheap but you are getting a fantastic product, this is deffinately worth the price tag. Comet also had 15% of Miele when I purchased which meant at £850 this was a real bargain."
Pros: numerous
Cons: cost but you get what you pay for

"Already have a Miele Tumble Dryer, so went for this Miele Washing Machine. Almost purchased the Which Best Buy model that I am sure is very good, but this had some extra features including the larger honeycomb and faster spin. The clothes seem to come out extremely well washed with most of the moisture taken out (which cuts down on the tumble drying time) and less ironing effort. There is also a 20 minute wash cycle which has come in very handy when we are in a rush to wash something. No doubt this is a 5-star model!"
Pros: 20 minute wash cycle, fast spin, honeycomb drum, easy to use
