"I've always been put off plasmas due to their image burning and heat output and always used LCD TVs.
The people in the shop were very good at going through all the pros and cons of this TV.

Picture: It's amazingly crystal clear and bright (Which can be altered in the eco setting). The lack of LCD cells makes for amazing quality.
Sound: The sound quality is better than my last TV but for movies and gaming I use a different sound system so I can't judge here. Sorry.
Ease of use: The set up is really easy although the stand took a little bit of work to build. It's pretty much a plug and play with a very easy menu system.
3D: (Active)The 3D part of the TV I thought was really good. I have streamed 3D movies, played disks and done 3D gaming all of which were easy to use. It converts 2D to 3D and plays both horizontal and vertical 3D. The depth can be adjusted as can the seperation. (Although if you get this part wrong it strains your eyes). Glasses are light and easy to set up using bluetooth technology. You get 2 pairs with the TV.
Connectivity: It has 4 HDMI sockets, 2 USB ports, 1 scart, and various others fo PCs that I am lost with but I think there is enough for everyone.
Value for money: I think so."

"Went for the PANASONIC TX-P50ST31B but had to return two sets as they had faulty screens. Slight Green patches on screen.
Lost interest with the Panasonic range and Comet were great at exchanging the sets. Decided to go for the SAMSUNG PS51D550C1KXXU51" PLASMA 3D TV. What can I say after reading all the info about the Panasonics I thought I was going for an inferior set
Well how wrong I was this is by far the best plasma screen I have had. Out of the box and running with no problems all within 10 mins. Fantastic image quality, crystal clear screen. And the 3D is great. Very happy with this set if you’re looking for a plasma TV I would highly recommend this one fantastic value. This set certainly has the WOW factor."

"Me and my Partner bought this TV before Chirstmas and are very pleased with it. It was easy to set up and didnt take long. The picture quality is brilliant and we cant fault it. This has been an excellent buy and we would definatly recommend it!"

"I have owned all format flatscreen tv's (plasma lcd led) my last tv was panasonic Z1 series which had a retail value of over £4000 it was and is a fantasic tv but now i have decided to go for 3D looked at all the reviews went to comet to look for myself and this Tv stood out from the rest fantasic picture quality (it was only showing BBC-HD) but getting close to the screen it had no artifacts or blurring it was sharp colours were some of the best i have seen on any tv so went home and ordered it online when it arrived tried the 3D it blew me away brilliant picture did not notice croostalk problems that effect lcd screens also the 2D to 3D conversion worked a lot better then i thought it would, you dont get blu-ray results but on any sky HD channel it worked fine needless to say that i recommend this tv to anyone looking for a fantastic 2D and 3D tv look no further just buy one of these for the price and quality one of the best if not the best tv around"

"THE TV STAYS ON 24/7 NO PROBLEMS SO FAR, HAD THE THE C680 LEFT IT ON FOR A WEEK AND THE SCREEN WENT FAULTY WAS REPLACED WITH THIS NO PROBLEMS WITH THIS SO FAR LETS HOPE WE DON'T GET ANY, EXCELLENT TV, ONLY THING I WOULD SAY IS MAKE SURE TO GET EXTENDED WARRANTY AS U WILL NEED IT ONE DAY LOL"
