"I love this TV with a passion getting a brand name at such a good price wins it for me, the picture quality and sound quality are amazing I can't find any downfalls with it at all, so easy to set the TV up, and then easy to use. Anyone looking to buy a bigger TV I would Highly recommend this one, and on the plus side it is made by a well known company JVC superb, I for one am glad I bought it :)"

"When i purchased this TV i ideally wanted a Panasonic set ,as i have one in another room. But this looked to be such a bargain in the store...and cheaper than the Panasonic eqivalent .
It was easy to unpack and set up. I have had the set 30 days now and the set looks good and has all the features you need including several HDMI sockets.
I would point out that it boasts an internet feature (Sub to dongle plug in) but I have tried this and i can't get it to work. I think others have this problem too. Also there is no Audio out AV sockets in which means i can not plug in my basic sound system but its got optical and HDMI so you can add a modern home cinema system.
I actually bought the set cheaper than the current advertised price so I feel I have got a good TV at a very good price.
I have in the past always rated JVC products and up to now I rate this one. BUT !! after digging around on the web I have found out that it is not a genuine JVC made set...however I would have gave it five stars but I can't get the set connected to the internet and the sound not quite as good as my other Panasonic Tv.
One last note....I am very pleased with the quality of the remote control..sometimes this is overlooked when choosing a new TV set.
You won't find a better TV cheaper...Trust me!"

"Bought this tv 4 weeks ago and i just love it. Sound and picture quality are both fantastic. very easy to set up, was up and running in no time. Bought the stand to go with it and they look very good together. A brilliant tv the for price paid. Would recomend to anyone."

"Amazing price £349 for an 42inch HD tv, very good customer delivery service, Comet you need to trace driver and commend him.TV is well made together with a superior functional remote control. As with most LCD flat screens it would benefit from an auxillary surround sound setup but this is used in a bedroom .
I would have no qualms in recommending it!!"

"This TV impressed me immediately, it actually looks 'expensive', minimal frame and support foot gives it a very sleak appearance. The 'touch' controls on the TV serve their purpose without the need for large push buttons and dazzling lights. The high gloss black frame contrasts the satin screen perfectly...so it's actually a nice piece of furniture as well.
All the on screen functions are easily found via the remote and using this to set the TV up could'nt be easier. Menu's are clear and concise and once you have selected a function it deals with the task quickly.
The picture quality is exceptional for a TV in this price and range. Everything looks tone perfect with no over brightness on any colour. At the typical viewing distance the picture appears solid and sharp so everything is easy on the eye with no glare or blur.
The sound quality is consistent and crisp.
The remote control is comprehensive and easy to use.
There's nothing better than buying a product, getting it home, plugging it in and switching it on to find you have something that performs better than you expected and gives you that feeling of 'for once you've made the right choice'.

"i agree with all that was written in the other review also had a samsung that died read the reveiw and bought the jvc got it home and was up and running in no time hardest part was getting plastic off the base"

"ive just exchanged this TV from a faulty samsung id previously bought, and ive gotta say its incredible!! the picture quality is stunning. everything you could possibly want to attach to this TV is possible. connections for everything. no stand to put together, its an all in one unit. the USB feature plays music, pics AND video (not always available on other models). Comet have got some details wrong on this. it does have internet capability via a dongle that you have to buy seperately, however i haven't used this yet so i cant say exactly what it does and the instructions are slightly vague on some features. Its also DOES have a digital/optical audio-out socket if you have a surround system. You can use it as a computer monitor (again i havent used this) as it has a VGA socket. ive only had the TV 4 hrs as i write this, however i honestly cannot fault anything what-so-ever. the only slight critisism i would have is that the programme guide is not as straight forward to use as other TV's and digi-boxes i have used, but that will come with use. if you want great TV ''buy this one'', you are literally getting a quality £600 TV for £349!"
