"Fantastic laptop - the Intel i3 Dual Core CPU is benchmarked just behind some Intel i7's and a whole lot faster than the standard Intel i5 - The 2nd gen i3-2310 Model CPU is a fantastic addition to this laptop. I haven't looked for the additional RAM slots, but 4gb is enough for most tasks (unless you're editing multiple HD movies, but you wouldn't do that on a £350 laptop anyway, right?)
The 1GB on board graphics card runs most games smoothly, so no worries there (don't go trying to play anything too extreme, but Saints Row: The Third and Skyrim run great!)
The build quality is fantastic, it keeps cool and is almost completely silent - amazing for £349! The touch-pad is responsive and large, the keyboard is great and has the additional number pad. The LED screen is a nice addition, providing a great display combined with the 1GB on-board card.
Other additions include the HDMI input and USB 3.0 slot - really nice extras to an already fantastic laptop, if you want more inputs (who needs 4 ports?? what are you connecting??), you can buy a slim adaptor.
To conclude, this laptop is the best deal out there - go for ASUS, where you know your money is well spent. I would put this model at around £499 for realistic value, so it's a fantastic deal at £349!"
Cons: bundled with some bloatware easily uninstalled., battery life could be better but 3 hours is fine.

"With so many laptops out there we are all stuck for choice and it can get very confusing with all the jargon of this and that. So after many days searching and reading and comparing I came to this laptop and what a find it was! Good spec and a great price for the features it has. The build quality is excellent and it runs silently - very silently! One of the best features is that it stays cool as it runs. It hardly gets warm even after a full days' use. So, the pros for me are good build quality, bright, crisp screen, hd video, comfortable keyboard and touch pad, very good integrated graphics...I could go on for a while! It has plenty of storage, and it's very fast. Programs load quickly and as said before, it stays cool.
The bottom line is its a great buy and excellent value laptop for the money. Don't look any further - just buy it!"

"Pros: -Beautiful build quality -Bright, crisp screen -Comfortable keyboard and touchpad -Very good integrated graphics, can play most titles on low settings -Plenty of storage -Very fast, programs load quickly
Cons: -When playing demanding games, the fan gets very noisy (however for general use it's almost silent) -Bundled with heaps of trashy software (can be removed) -Mediocre battery life
Bottom Line: An excellent value laptop, with great features, a sophisticated finish (not shiny and tacky) and surprisingly capable hardware. Buy it."

"Considering I have had a fair dislike of laptops for several years after a pretty poor experience with one, the fact that I needed something a little more portable than my desktop for light work caused me a few headaches. After much consideration, comparing features and price, performance and quality, I opted for this one purely on the basis that it was more than adequate for my needs and it was made by a company I have come to trust. I was not disappointed. Straight out of the box, it has enough processor power and 4Gb of RAM to excel at everything from office apps to HD video, plenty of ports for peripherals, 2Gb of free cloud storage on an Asus network, Office starter, 64 bit Windows 7 Home Premium OS, Intel HD graphics and a superbly clear and bright screen. Quick to start, easy to set up and personalise and ultra responsive, within minutes I had made it mine.
Build quality is nothing short of excellent too. The case is as sturdy as laptops of four times the price (my last one cost £1200 and fell far short of this) and the screen stays put at any angle. The textured finish of the body is a nice touch, rather prettily offset by the brushed black aluminium surrounding the keyboard. The keys are full size and accurate, and the touch pad is very responsive indeed- my only (slight) criticism is that it is maybe a little TOO responsive and takes a little getting used to. However, this is very minor indeed and probably just a matter of personal taste. Most importantly, you won't be annoying anyone with the noise of whirring fans or clicking keys- this thing is SILENT, unbelieveably so in fact. There are four customisable profiles loaded into the laptop, including a performance mode for when you want a little extra graphical grunt, and a quiet office mode which keys everything back a notch, reducing the sound to a barely audible hum.
Something to consider- there is an empty slot for extra RAM, and given that another 4Gb can be had for the ludicrous price of £17.99, it's almost rude not to!
Over all, this machine is an absolute bargain in every way. If you are a serious gamer, forget it (shared graphics can't compete with the big boys for newer titles, but it works fine for older games), but if you want something for office apps, media, internet and e-mail, communication and portability, look no further. You'd HAVE to pay double for anything else near as good..."
Pros: bright screen, solid build, fast, feature rich, hd video, cheap expandable ram, responsive, soft touch keyboard, easy set up, very quiet
