"I spent a year reviewing various pads pods and whatnot. I then got to see this. The ASUS Eee PAD TRANSFORMER PRIME.10.1 INCH TABLET 32GB. It is exactly what I have been waiting for. It does the lot. And more. One of the best things is with the dock I get way way more battery time than anyother pad an easy 17/18 hours. Can watch films with a great picture quality, it runs and does allsorts of other programs. The photos it can take are stunning. And Skype is so easy. And to be fair the only small problem is the sound. only one onboard speaker, so use my headphones all the time and it like being at the movies. But hey you should not annoy the neighbours sitting next to you, so listen in private.I would have this over an Ipad any day."
Pros: fantastic battery life
Cons: only one speaker onboard

Excellent Tablet that is a serious iPad challenger

"Brilliant tablet from Asus. I love the fact that it comes with a dockable keyboard as this gives lots of extra battery life, plus all the add-ons like SD card and USB ports. The screen is great, and whilst I can't claim to have used the HD video recording the camera is certainly very good too.
When it comes out of the box it will want to upgrade to Ice-Cream Sandwich which is no bad thing. The speed of the device is instantaneous helped by the quad-core I should imagine.
In my eyes this is much better than an iPad due to the fact that you can just plug in the keyboard and also get the extras like the SD and USB."
Cons: android market not fully geared up for tablets yet

Incredible Device

"This is easily the most impressive bit of tech I've bought. Ever. I will say this though: I'm not a big fan of iOS. And if this didn't exist I don't think I'd have bought a tablet.
That aside, the Transformer Prime is a really well put together device. When you pick it up it feels like it's a premium product. The price may seem on the high side, but when you consider that this has all the benefits of a tablet, with many of the benefits of a laptop added in, that doesn't seem like such an issue.
A quick tip: If you're into gaming then get an OnLive account, download the Android app and plug in an XBox 360 (wired) controller. Playing full console games on a tablet/netbook hybrid is an amazing experience!"
Pros: extremely powerful processor, ice cream sandwich looks great, screen brightness, keyboard dock, usb port works with most devices, real "all day" battery life, android!
Cons: printer support is limited, a few niggles with wifi connectivity, gps is poor, selection of apps optimised for android tablets

"This is the brand new prime model with Keyboard. Mine arrived from Comet today (30/12/2011) and all I can say Is wow !!! It is much slimmer / slleeker than the original prime and looks a million $$$ The screen is very responsive and the package feels like it is built to last. Please be aware that there are two rubber bungs covering the docking ports on the tablet that need removing before inserting the tablet into the docking keyboard, forget to do this and you may end up with pieces of rubber lodged inside your tablet !! Also remember to charge for 8 hours before using the device as this will prolong the battery life (or so im told) Go visist the transformer forum (google it) as there is a dedicated section for the new model...."
